NICOFRUIT adopts the quality system of the integrated production that consists in combining production methods compatible with the protection of the environment, the preservation of the health of workers and consumers, with the technical and economic requirements of modern production systems.
Storage and conditioning are controlled by a software cell that provides for the continuous monitoring of temperature and humidity of the products, from the countryside until their departure for the various target markets.
The monitoring of the correct temperature, during the phases of transport, is ensured by small electronic recorders of which are equipped with the means of transport. NICOFRUIT products are traceable and trackable. Thanks to a computerized system, the product will be followed in various stages of processing, packaging and storage to the point of sale where the consumer can, following the reverse process (traceability), go up again to the soil in which fruits and vegetables have been cultivated .
NICOFRUIT is certified under the voluntary schemes that both product and system.
